Mary Turner

Mary Turner is in charge of all UK operations, including media, access, business services and IP networks. She  led the integration of strategic acquisitions of Liberty Surf, World Online, LineOne, Tini ISP and Gateway ISP merging these differing companies within Tiscali's established brand.

Mary was previously Managing Director of  Tiscali UK`s Consumer business,  joining Tiscali as Managing Director of LineOne where she had full financial responsibility for the company and managed all business activities. Tiscali acquired LineOne in May 2001.

Prior to LineOne, Mary was General Manager UK and Marketing Director Europe of AOL Bertelsmann/CompuServe Information Services. Whilst in this role, Mary developed and implemented the marketing strategy of CompuServe taking it to the number one 'front of mind' brand proposition in the UK.

Mary was responsible for setting up the portal and ISP team in the UK and Netherlands and developing all above and below the line marketing activity. She was also instrumental in developing the content channels, which have now become a permanent fixture in portal sites.
