Tiscali Italy launches the entertainment channel Tiscali Giochi

Cagliari, 22nd September 2005 - Tiscali Italy announces the launch of its new games channel, targeted at people who love to take challenges, like solitary games or want to take part in online competitions. Tiscali also offers different connection options: High speed with ADSL or Dial-up.

The new games channel is made up of 3 areas: Broadgames, Free Downloads and Play & Win.

The Broadgames area has a multiplayer option and gives players the chance to take on the challenge of games such as Return to Castle Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, NeverWinter Nights and Unreal Tournment 2004. Also available is a community and Forum where players can share opinions or set up teams to play online matches. All you need is a Tiscali email account.

In the Free Downloads area 300 games are available for players to download and use for a trial period, before purchasing them for less then 20 Euro.

In the Play & Win area, logical games such as Card and Chess games, Nine Balls and Word Battle are available for users to play online.

New features are planned to be available in the future including games for children.
