Tiscali Cup, ongoing in Cagliari the 6th edition

Cagliari, 13th September 2006 - It's ongoing in Cagliari the 6th edition of the Tiscali Cup, the annual open sea sailing in the Mediterranean area, with crews coming from and outside Europe. The event is organized by the association Sandalion with Tiscali as main name sponsor. The event is thought to gather about 250 watercrafts, 1.500 crews and at least 20.000 visitors.

The great appointment, started yesterday till the 17th of September, has become one of the most important sport events of the season in Sardinia. There are two sections, agonistic and amatory, in order to guarantee the maximum attendance to what first of all will be the sea and sailing celebration. 

In addition to the open sea sailing competition, there are also a series of evening entertainments, under way during the sport event, such as basket games, musical evenings and tasting of local products, all gathered in the "sailing village", a meeting point built on the port of Cagliari.

This is a great chance to enjoy the freedom sense sea can offer to sea sailing fans and visitors... unforgettable fun and  relax moments!
