Tiscali UK comes Top of the Home Phone Providers

London, 27th November 2006 - According to the uSwitch Customer Satisfaction Survey, Tiscali UK was voted number one for home phone customer satisfaction with 81% overall satisfaction. Tiscali was second in the last survey.

The uSwitch.com Customer Satisfaction Report has taken the views of over 50,000* customers over the course of the last 12 months to evaluate the quality of service provided by their home phone and broadband providers.

In the home telephone market, Tiscali UK overtook TalkTalk. This last one and Telewest achieved an 80% rating, followed by BT at 72% and ntl at 70%.

Customer satisfaction levels were also shown to have dropped 4% among home phone users compared to an earlier uSwitch survey conducted six months ago.

According to the uSwitch Customer Satisfaction Report, most providers fail to match rising customer numbers with improved services and technology.

For Broadband, Tiscali UK came third with 80% overall satisfaction behind Virgin.net (85%) and Telewest (83%).
