Tiscali: approved disposal of Tiscali South Africa

Cagliari, 17th January 2005 - The South African competition authority has approved the sale of the subsidiary Tiscali Pty Limited to MBWEB Holdings (Pty) announced on August 20th 2004, for a total amount of Euro 40 millions. The closing of the disposal is due in February 2005.

On January 12th the South African competition authority approved also the disposal of the South African cellular business to Vodacom Service Provider Company Ltd, announced on October 19th 2004, for a total amount of Euro 5.3 millions.
