Tiscali International Network extends global and Asia Pacific Footprint with Hong Kong Point of Presence

Cagliari, 10th April 2006 - Tiscali International Network (TINet), one of Europe’s leading wholesale carriers and carrier arm of Tiscali, is building a Point of Presence (PoP) in Hong Kong to extend its wholesale IP Transit, MPLS and Voice offerings to the Asia-Pacific market.

TINet already has an extensive European and North American footprint with over 75 IP/MPLS PoPs across the world.  With the additional PoP in Hong Kong, TINet now aims to replicate its European and North American success in the Asia Pacific region and serve the rapidly increasing demand for international connectivity services.

The growth of TINet’s network footprint will continue in 2006 both in Europe and in North America.  In the USA new Points of Presence in Dallas and Atlanta will complement a backbone which already spans the East and West Coasts and Southern USA.
