Resignations of Tiscali Board members: Bischoff and Pretre

Cagliari, 22nd May 2006 - Tiscali S.p.A. announced last Friday 19th of May, following the approval of FY2005 results, the Board members Victor Bischoff and Gabriel Pretre resigned for personal reasons linked to new professional commitments.

The Board of Directors of Tiscali SpA and the whole management of the Group wish to thank Mr Bischoff and Mr Pretre for their valuable contribution and support to the Group during these years.

“ I wish to thank all the Board Members, with whom we had a very fruitful cooperation during these past years”, declared Victor Bischoff. “ The Sandoz Family Foundation, which still holds a 9% stake in Tiscali SpA, has full confidence in the Board of Directors to implement the Group’s strategy and to represent its interests as shareholder of Tiscali SpA. ”

With regard to the stake held by the Sandoz Family Foundation, and with reference to today’s press reports, Tiscali specifies that the number of shares held by the Foundation (ca 35 million) has not varied since 31st December 2004.
