
Cagliari, 11th December 2007 - Tiscali, the independent telecommunications company, and Sky Italia, the Italian digital pay TV, announce they cut a deal about
Sky packages distribution over
Tiscali TV, which commercial launch is starting just today in the cities of Cagliari, Milan and Rome, and will be progressively extended to all towns covered by Tiscali network during 2008.
Starting from the first six months of 2008, Tiscali TV users will be able to activate Sky packages on Tiscali’s TV platform, experiencing an even richer and winning TV offering, together with linear and on-demand channels schedule already included in Tiscali offer.
“The agreement with Sky Italia – says Tommaso Pompei, Tiscali’s CEO – is a further and important new element for Tiscali TV. Sky content, in fact, is high-quality content packaged to meet the needs of a mature viewer who is looking for the best experience on different media types.”
